Roads of North Bengal

Itinerary:

Day 1: Departure from Sealdah/Howrah station by train.

If all is well, then the train(AC 3 tier) journey will roughly last for 10-12 hours. Dinner(Egg Thali) shall be provided by us in the train.

Day 2: Arrival at New Jalpaiguri station and off to Lungchu(1600m) and stay.

Lungchu Nature Stay ( This is where we shall be staying)

After arriving at New Jalpaiguri station, breakfast (Bread-Omelet & Tea) will be served while we wait for the car. Distance of Lungchu from NJP is 115 kilometers. Depending on the condition of road, it will be approximately another 5 hours journey. This will include multiple rest stops at tea stall and popular falls. Here you will get a iconic group photo from bird eye point (using drone).

One of such stop will be at Changey Waterfall - a virgin natural beauty. If you're wild enough,

you're good to go for a quick bath here (we did). Since every one will be too exhausted from the journey, there won't be any activity for the day. We shall be enjoyning 'Nature & Chill' in the beautiful flower gardens of Lungchu Nature Stay where we shall spend the night.

You will be provided lunch (Chicken Thali), evening snacks (Tea & Pakoras) and dinner(Egg Thali).

Day 3: Departure for Yelbong & stay(1050m)

After breakfast of your choice ( Egg Maggi/ Aloo Paratha & Tea) we shall leave for Yelbong. Yelbong is Hidden by the valleys of Kalimpong and the fog of the Himalayas, Yelbong is an unknown gem in North Bengal that boasts of an adrenaline-filled adventure strewn with waterfalls, deep jungles, a paradise for Butterfly lovers, River Camping, Trekking & the best of this is the River Canyon Cave. The cave 2 km long and this is the only river canyon cave which is 2km long in north Bengal. We shall have lunch at Yelbong. After lunch, you can explore Yelbong village or you can go for Butterflies Watching and enjoy the sunset or mountain view. Evening snacks will include Veg Pakora and Tea. You can have a little campfire and booze there. Dinner (Chicken Thali) at night.

Day 4: Yelbong River Canyon Cave trek

After breakfast, you can proceed on Yelbong River Canyon Cave trek 4-5 hrs trek. Lunch at the riverside(Ramti River). Return to Yelbong Homestay and enjoy an Evening with Campfire and Barbeque in the wild. Dinner(Chicken Thali) at the end of the day.

Congratulations. You have collected memories that you will cherish through out your whole life. Now it is time for you to go back to your daily jobs.

Day 5: Back to Pavillion

After breakfast at Yelbong, we have to leave for NJP. We shall take some detour and show you a few places where we can stay the next time. Here is a link about those places if you are kin to learn about. We shall board the train around evening. You shall be provided with dinner on the train.

Day 6: Drop off at Sealdah/Howrah

Train will reach the station early morning. After that we shall be going our own ways.
